Spring!!

Hey:) Spring has just began and that makes me a happy girl. It's getting a little bit colder the next few days, but it's been super sunny and beautiful lately. It's impossible not to be happy when it's sunny.

February was an awesome month, as it is every year. I'm starting to think that it's my attitude that makes it so good, February just can't go wrong. Maybe I should think every month is my favorite. On the 28th of February Ken and I as a couple turned two years old! It's our anniversary and it was a great one. Ken gave me a book called Vogue Unseen which was a book filled with pictures taken for the magazine, but didn't make the cut. With each picture there is a small text telling the story behind it and who took it, it's so cool. Ken is an expert at gift giving!

One of my new years resolutions were to become more active so I've decided to post what I've been up to. I'm using a website and app called Endomondo. The app is called Endomondo Sports Tracker and you can find it for both Android and iPhone. It can track all sorts of stuff (walking, running, horse riding, tennis and so on. You can even track wheelchair!). On the website there is a calender with all the workouts you've had that looks like this:

So this is what I've been up to in February. As you can see I've been doing a lot of walking and the "fat little person" (as Ken called it) is yoga.

Yoga is pretty new to me, I only started properly this year and so far I'm loving it! I've tried it once or twice in the past, but I have never stuck with it. I have an absolutely amazing app on my iPhone that gives me ready made yoga lessons as if you were in a class and that makes it so easy. I love doing it first thing in the morning so I think it's easier than going to a gym to take a class. I can do it whenever it suits me. It has lots of different classes from beginner to advanced, strength to relaxation and 15 min to 60 min ones. You can also make your own classes. It's called Yoga Studio, it costs, but very little. I think it's a very helpful investment and cost far less than regular yoga classes. If you want more information here is their website: Yogastudioapp.com

So yeah. In the end of each month I will post my monthly calendar like that and show what I've done. I figured that will give me the extra push to exercise, it'd be embarrassing to show you an empty month.

My dad's iPad2 was dropped on the floor and the sound button was acting funny after that. He decided to get a new iPad3 which made me very happy because that usually means his old one is mine and this time was no exception. I'm loving having an iPad. I had iPad1 before that and I was sharing it with Ken, but I didn't use it that much for some reason. Ken came to me out of the blue one day and ordered one year subscription of American Vogue for the iPad! I didn't read it so much on the old one, I think I like having my own iPad because it's a bit more personal or something. I'm using it more than my computer and I'm reading Vogue almost every day. It even has a front camera and I had to try it out straight away of course!

It turned out great. I love the big screen, I'm totally hooked on it.

The other day I was hanging out at my friends, Jenny and Julie's house. They both have horses and Julie asked me if I wanted to ride her horse the next day and of course I said yes! I had so much fun, I miss riding a lot so it's like heaven when I get to do it. I didn't want it to end at all. Later on Karoline asked me if I wanted to ride her horse the day after! My lucky day!! At first I didn't think I could because I had an appointment in the evening, but Julie was kind enough to drive me to the appointment afterwards so I just made it.

Waiting to be picked up to go to the stable
Sweet Zander:)
And Filago!
Karoline trained him well, he even knows how to pose:)

Ken took all the photos that wasn't obviously taken by me.  So needless to say I've had a good few days!

I've watched two Audrey Hepburn movies too btw. I watched Charade and Two For The Road. They were both great, but especially Charade is one you just have to see. It's so funny!

That's it! Hope the weather where you are is as nice as it is here!

Lots of love:)

Audrey Hepburn in Galaxy ad

As you may know Audrey Hepburn is my all time favorite actress, style icon and celebrity. You'd say she's got that little something extra, but really she's got a whole lot of something extra. Obviously I didn't know her in person, but she seems like the loveliest, most wonderful person. She sets a great example for girls (and boys for that matter) everywhere!

Now the chocolate company Galaxy have made her in CGI form for their commercial. It apparently took a year to make it and they did a great job! She looks incredibly real and the commercial is great. It makes me want to go to Italy, where the commercial is set, so badly. Almost more so than I want chocolate, but to be fair I always want chocolate so I just notice it more when I want something else.

Her two sons, Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti, said it captures their mother's playful spirit and approve their use of her name. I've seen interviews with Sean Ferrer and he just seems like the nicest person as well, he has been working with UNICEF like his mother which is really respectable and admirable.

They use the song Moon River sang by her from Breakfast at Tiffany's which I love as well. This commercial has Audrey, Moon River, chocolate, Italy and a hint of romance, it couldn't actually be any more perfect!

I'll leave you with a photo I love with some words of wisdom that I firmly believe in:)

Oslo trip

Yesterday evening Ken and I came home from a quick trip to Oslo. We took the train early on last Thursday from Bergen arriving in Oslo around 3 pm and took the train from Oslo yesterday, Saturday, at 4 pm arriving in Bergen at 11pm. We had to go there because Ken's passport expired in January. He is an Austrian citizen so he needed to go to the Austrian embassy  to get a new one and the only one in Norway is in Oslo. It was so fun, I love taking the train to Oslo so I was just really happy to do it. We tried to press as many experiences and see as much as possible in the little time we were there. I think we did really good!

Through the train window! Around a place called Finse.

We didn't do much the first day, Thursday. We only walked around a little in the area around the hotel towards Karl Johan street which is the main street in Oslo and found a small, nice place to get some dinner. We wanted to go to bed pretty early as we had to be up early the Friday as we had an appointment with the Austrian embassy at 10 am. We wanted to make the hotel breakfast and get ready so we were up at 8 am.

View from our hotel room in the evening

Going to the embassy!

With some waiting time for me in the embassy I could only pose for some self shots!

Austrian flag
After the embassy we went to a park called Vigelands parken. It's a sculpture park and Vigeland is the surname of the guy who designed or made all the sculptures there. It's impressive. Later on we went straight to the National History Museum. Over there we saw some dinosaur skeletons, fossils and other impressive stuff, you'll see the photos! After that we went straight to Karl Johan's street and paid Hard Rock Café a little visit. Ken got a t-shirt and he bought me a little charm bracelet which was so cute. You can buy a charm from different countries and it looks like a guitar pick with the name of the city.

Later we were so tired so we ordered food to the hotel and stayed in for the evening. We wanted to be out pretty early the Saturday as well so we could see some stuff before the train left.

Vigelands parken

Ken's lovely photo. He let me borrow it for the blog:)
Some astrology thingy

Aquarius!

The cutest dog ever came running over to Ken giving him a piece of ice demanding him to throw it! It was so adorable!

Haha, an angry snowman!

Ken is feeling up some girls butt!

When looking at those photos from Vigelands parken I am actually amazed by how well timed the shots were. There were so many people around, but in the photos it looks like we were alone!

The famous Ida. A monkey fossil.
Saturday, after checking out of the hotel, we walked down a really nice street nearby and had a look in some stores and pop-up shops, I loved it. We also saw a room made out of ice. I had seen it the day before from a different street, but wanted to take a closer look. I don't even know why because when I got the and looked at it it was like "ah, ok.." I didn't really know what to do about it, it didn't make any difference that I was closer, it was just a room, there was nothing more to see, haha! Ken took a picture of me in it though. I suppose I expected it to be an experience of some sort, but it wasn't at all that special, haha! Well done to whoever made it though.

We then went to the train station and left our luggage in a locker and went to see the new opera house made in Oslo. It was cool and really modern looking. The castle was cooler though. In the middle of Oslo you find the royal house or castle, whatever you like to call it really. It's in the very end of Karl Johan street and there are guards there at all times which is cool. They have to walk a certain way and not smile and stuff, it's really funny. There are several videos on Youtube of people trying to make them laugh by doing different things like telling jokes and dancing funny.

When having seen the castle it was about 3 pm so one hour to our train left. We went back to the train station, grabbed something to eat, got our luggage and went to the train. That train journey was nice too, but not as nice as the first one because it got dark after a few hours so there were nothing more to see after that.
We asked the hotel for toothpaste and they gave us this! Cutest thing ever!

Haha! Ken as Terry Richardson!

It was a short but really great trip! You can see Ken's side of the story here! Right now I'm just really happy and excited because the weather here in Bergen is sunny and amazing! It feels a little like spring, yay! Thank you, Bergen, for the warm welcome:)

Lots of love!
