Heart of a Horse

After we moved my dad had to go away for work so me and Ken decided to unpack and finish the the living room completely. It took all of Monday, but we did it. My dad seemed happy and surprised so it was worth it. I've set up all my things and tried to fit all my clothes in to the closets while leaving some space for Ken too, so tricky! There is a lot left to do, but that can wait, at least a day or two. We took before and after shots of the living room, but I'll have to show you later as they're not on my computer yet.

Yesterday I did my last day in the theory course for my driving license. I have to come back in March and do two more days though as I missed some when I was ill. I didn't have to take the course, but I figured it was wise, I'm so nervous about the test. Some of the things they went through on the course was pretty straight forward and easy, but some of the things I think I would never have remembered on my own if someone didn't explain it to me so I'm happy I did it.

Today Ken and I decided to go for a walk and eat dinner at a shopping center nearby. We just wanted to check it out and stuff. We had so much fun as usual and took loads of photos. Ken is my private photographer, haha! He's great at it so I'm lucky!

My handsome photographer boyfriend
If you are interested in horses, by the way, I'm following a page on facebook called Heart of a Horse that posts amazing photos of horses. They also post stories from fans. First I thought it was one of those stories that are like "I loved a horse once then I lost it and if you like my post I might magically get it back or at least see that someone cares", but no. They just post sweet stories about people who love their horses. Yesterday they posted a photo of a painting that was so beautiful I just had to save it. They post such beautiful photos several times a day so it's like the best page I ever liked.

Only 3 days till I turn 21!

Lots of love:)

Moving day is over!

We're now out of the old place and in the new one. We moved in where my mum used to live so I'm back in my old room. I used to live here from when I was 13-14 to 15, it's funny and weird to be back. My mum lived here until recently so we got the place through her. We were moving all day yesterday with good help from some guys working with my mum and Ken in a firm who pretty much just lift things anyway.

The fun thing about moving is that you find things you thought you had lost or completely forgotten about. I found the dress I made for my prom in 9th grade, that was fun. I love that dress, I'd love to make more. I've worn this in too many funerals as it is the only black dress I think I've ever owned.
Here it is
The new apartment here doesn't have a dishwasher which I think is going to make me unhealthy as I will want to order food instead of making it so I don't have to clean, haha! It's a nice place though, it has a balcony and a pretty view. I like the grocery store nearby a lot. It's a little more expensive than the one that was close to the old place, but they have so much nice stuff.

This is the view I've had from the bed, pretty chaotic. I've organized and made it a bit more tidy now though, thankfully. There's a lot still to do though.

We just now found the cutlery, haha! It's been missing in one of the million boxes around. It's made it tricky to eat as we couldn't find any what so ever! I'm making spaghetti later on, I hope I'll find everything I need for that.

My riding gear I brought from Ireland that I still haven't used. Maybe I should!
My poor valentines day bear from last year being squeezed into a box with my shoes and Audrey Hepburn!
I feel like I slept forever last night, it was very needed. It's switching between a snow storm and rain storm outside, I don't think the weather can make up it's mind. I haven't been outside yet, but it's pretty freezing in here.

Looots of love:)

I love Bergen

Hey!

Happy 1st, or now actually 2nd, of February! It's officially my favorite month of the year, I'm excited! I feel a lot better which obviously makes me even more excited. My headaches are so much better and I feel almost well again. I got well really quickly when I first started feeling better. I went to the doctors again yesterday and I'm going to take an MRI scan of my head since I've had so many headaches recently, I didn't use to have them much before. Sounds really scary, but it's just a "just in case" check. It's not likely to be anything there that shouldn't be there.

Ken was so kind to come with me to the doctor early in the morning and when I was done there we felt a little spontaneous and went to the aquarium in Bergen. That did the world of good, I'd say, I was so desperate to get out of the house after having been in bed for over a week. The aquarium was fun as always, I've been there a million times, but I always enjoy it. We were there just in time to see the seal show and the penguins get fed. They told us information about the penguins and the way they find a mate is that the male penguin sees a female he likes and picks a rock and gives it to her. Then he bows and if she bows back they become mates for life. During their time together they keep giving each other rocks and together with those rocks they build a nest. I just thought that was so cute, haha! We also went to my favorite music store in Bergen where Ken found his favorite guitar strings so now I have a whole new set of strings on my guitar.

The weather was really nice as well, it was sunny. I love walking to the aquarium because there are so many old beautiful houses and I love the really narrow streets that go in between them, you can always find different things there like really beautiful flowers or street art or just random stuff. All the streets are cobblestone which makes it really nice. They haven't made new roads since the olden days so they've kept the horse tracks on the roads as well. I love it.

Today we've just packed a lot. Official moving day is tomorrow so everything has to be ready. The whole house is pretty much just in boxes now. Ken is going to get a desk in our new room so he's really excited to have a workspace and to have all his stuff there so it's easier to find stuff. He always has a million cables and hard-drives and I don't know what lying around.

Phototime:

Had to borrow this photo from Ken. Love this shot, Bergen is pretty!
How I've been feeling lately!

Pinterest

Hello:)

I've been feeling completely under the weather lately. It's probably been just a week or so, but it feels like forever! It started out as a fever and constantly freezing and sweating, now it's a horrible headache constantly and loud noises in my head. Yesterday was the worst, I had to only lie inside the room in complete darkness and have it as quiet as possible. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet and the light on the phone looked like the sun, haha! Even when someone talked to me the buzzing in my head would just be louder with their voice. I threw up yesterday and everything, not cool!

I went to the doctor today and he says it's some sort of infection, but they can't locate it so if I feel any worse I need to come in straight away, if I don't I still need to go in Thursday morning for a check up.

Such a bad timing as well! We're all packing to move, we're going to move to my mum's old apartment. Ken and I are going to move with my dad for now as it seems to be tough finding an apartment. It's a bit weird, it looks like there is plenty of apartments on the market that look nice and are within the price range, I've written to at least 20 apartments, but they just don't get back to me so I don't really know what to do. Only one got back to me saying it was taken. I think they just go really, really fast and I have to just be quicker at calling or writing for the new ones! I'm not going to lie, I'm not excited to move again, we've done it way too much the last few months.

On a more positive note, my phone company keeps sending me 300 kroner gift cards and candy for no reason. I don't really need anything phone related so my dad has gotten an iPhone case and today Ken got the new apple headphones, EarPods, and a game-gun thing that you put your iPhone on to and use the gun to shoot things on the screen. It's really cool and fun, he seems happy!

As this isn't a very exciting blog I decided to make a collage of lovely photos I found on Pinterest. Enjoy:)

That's about it really!

Take care:) xoxo

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

We've got the news that the owner of my dad's apartment are selling it so we have to move. That's sad in a way because I love it here and Ken and I have moved twice already the last three months, it's going to be good to have a place to ourselves again though. I love looking at apartments and stuff online so I've already found an apartment that I'm hoping to get, it's really close to my first school actually. It would be weird living there again!

Other than that the weather is lovely these days. Yesterday it was snowing a lot in the evening so around 2 am we went out to enjoy it. We walked around a little and found a playground. Playgrounds are always fun regardless of age, Ken took loads of great photos, I'm sure you can see some on Facebook soon. This is my first snow angel this year.

It's getting really cold outside, last night it was minus six degrees celsius! It's definitely time to wear my pajamas. Outside is absolutely stunning though, I love it.

The day before yesterday I watched the movie 'Paris When It Sizzles' with Audrey Hepburn in the lead playing Gabrielle Simpson. If you know me, you know that she is my absolute style icon. I adore her and the person she was, so I watch her movies from time to time. My all time movie favorite is 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', but I want to see all her movies. 'Paris When It Sizzles' is about Gabrielle who is a transcriber that visits a guy who needs to come up with a movie scrips in two days. It a lot of fun to watch, when he tells the story for her to write we see it, so when the story takes twists and turns things suddenly change, it's very funny. There were so many funny moments in it that made me laugh out loud, it was really good. The fashion in the movie was amazing, I want every single outfit Hepburn wore. She was just ridiculously good looking in it, as always. Her dresses are to die for!
From a scene in the movie, just look at that dress:D
It's not often we get to see her with her hair down, loves it!

One of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen

Like I said, I loved the movie. It's worth watching for sure, so funny!

I hope you're not too cold in this weather, take care:)

Lots of love xoxo
