Cinema trip

Rockin the 3D glasses
I went to see The Hobbit yesterday which was a lot of fun. My dad read it to me when I was a kid so I was particularly excited to see it for that reason. I remembered quite a lot, but I had no idea the movie is going to be in more than one part so I thought we were half way there when it ended, haha! I loved the new 40 frames per second thing. It looked so real and the orks looked even more terrifying! I just loved the elves and their beauty. The movie made me laugh a lot too, especially Gandalf and the dwarfs. Bilbo was pretty much just as I remember him from the book. The amount of details they remembered in the movie was amazing, apparently they worked with Tolkien's son to make it all perfect.

I've been taking it easy lately, going for walks, learning new things to cook and taking lots of driving lessons. It's fun!

Right now, as you can see, I'm baking bread and watching the latest Victoria's Secret show again, it's always fun to watch!

Looots of love:)

Pretty

So like I mentioned I was gonna do in my last blog, I made cupcakes Thursday afternoon. I was gonna make 8 almond cupcakes and 8 vanilla ones. The first 8 looked funny and I realized I had forgotten sugar, the next 8 went fine, but the frosting didn't stay in the bag I was gonna put it on with so it turned out to be a big, big mess and I ended up putting the frosting on with a spoon, they looked.. Charming. I had decided to make another 8 vanilla ones since the first ones didn't really turn out being cupcakes at all and they were perfect, yay!! So tasty, I ate way too many of course.

The ones to the left are the ones without sugar

Spoon frosting.. Big mess!!

And perfect!
To my pleasure I woke up to snow yesterday, proper snow that stuck this time. Not like last time when it was snowing a lot, but there were no snow on the ground. I had to get out and enjoy it of course so I walked in to town and met Ken when he was finished working. The shops had started decorating for christmas and there were lights everywhere. It was really pretty!

Everything was all white like this.

Pretty

Super pretty!
Today we went for a nice walk and enjoyed the snow and snowball fighting, haha!

Everything was so beautiful, but we saw a bag in the water and decided to get it out of there

Ken being an everyday hero, haha

Happy to be home and warm
Later we're going for dinner at my mum's, that's always nice. Stay warm and cosy <3

Bakin'

Yesterday it was one of those lovely days when you wake up and can't help but smile because the sun is in your face, especially since it's been so long ago since last time that happened. I tried to make the most of it and ran a few errands, got a few things done and went for a long walk.

We made tacos or wraps or tortillas or what ever it's called later! It's so nice and I don't think of it that often so I don't make it much, but when I do I love it!

We also watched "Rock Star", a movie about a guy who plays in a tribute band and end up being the lead vocalist in the band they're tributing. It was fun, it's worth a watch! Myles Kennedy was in it, he looked hilarious! Mark Wahlberg plays the lead and Jennifer Aniston plays his girlfriend, she looked stunning in it!
Movie time!
Today I woke up hoping it would be sunny like yesterday, but no! It was as grey as it gets! Ken really wanted blueberry muffins and I really wanted to bake so I baked just that. It was fun, I've never done it before. They turned out really tasty, but that was about it.. I put them in a cupcake tray and the whole thing looked like a cake afterwards, when I try to take the muffins out, they kind of collapse. It's only for us though, it's not like I baked them for a party or anything so as long as they taste good, I'm very happy!
Aren't these cute? I found them in Ikea, haha!
It started out looking like this, I just had to sprinkle some sugar, butter and flour mix on top and they were done. The recipe said I had to fill the little cups all the way.
It ended up looking like this. Like a cake.
As I don't really know what to do differently I probably won't make this for anyone, haha! Only me and Ken and stuff if we crave it. Now I'm baking bread and either later or tomorrow I'm going to make cupcakes. I don't know what got over me, but I don't mind, it's fun! I haven't baked much before so it's exciting to learn new things. I'm excited to try the cupcakes, I've baked it once before with help from my good friend, Ciara, I hope they turn out somewhat similar to what they did then.

I want to learn how to bake healthier options and stuff like that, I've seen there's a recipe for healthy chocolate chip cookies for example, I'd love to try that at some point. The bread I make is really healthy and so good, it's my grandma's recipe, she's made it since I was a kid, it's really cool to me that I can make it too. It looks like this:

It's really good!
Now I'm just waiting for todays bread to be done:)
I found this photo on Instagram, I really wish all fruit came with this, it's adorable!
This is just totally hot looking as always, I got it the other day.
I've come to really enjoy baking and cooking lately, I didn't enjoy it at all when I was younger, I always love finding a new passion, it's so exciting! Now I'm gonna go and eat some more muffins, Take care:)

Snow!

I've had a great few days being mostly at home enjoying time with my grandma and her husband. They stayed here in Bergen longer than expected which I was delighted about. I was happy about staying inside as well, it's getting really cold outside. I snowed a few days ago for the first time this year which is very exciting, but scary because the ground is gonna be slippery and I tend to fall easily and a lot, I'm incredibly clumsy! They had their dog with them who's called Roma. She's a two year old Rottweiler, she's huge, heavy and really easily excited so she's jumps up on me almost knocking me over, it's really funny! My grandma is an amazing cook so I got her to teach me a few things, it was great fun. She taught me to cook a steak and bake bread. The bread is amazing, it tastes so good and I'm excited I can make it now. It's been quiet the last days and it's been really nice. Here's some pictures:)

I'm showing grandma the front camera on my phone

Baking bread, it just looked so pretty!

Bread ready to be put in the oven

Our first snow, it was hard to capture it, but I think I managed!

In town doing a little bit of shopping and following Ken to work

I was cutting my avocado and just kept on cutting through the stone and didn't think about or notice before I was done! I must have superpowers without knowing about it!
Keep warm! Lots of love xoxo
