Christmas stuff and stuff

All the packages are done! It was fun decorating, they all look so different. I always have a few extra to get done because my grandma's birthday is today, 22nd, and my mum's is tomorrow, 23rd. I like finding things for other people so I thought it was fun picking them out. The shopping is so stressful these days though, Bergen is packed with people in a rush to get presents and their christmas food. Like my mum, she had like 12 really heavy bags of foods for the next hundred years, I just helped her out just carrying stuff. I have no idea how she would've done it on her own!

We've done our grocery shopping too and gotten new toothbrushes. You may not think it's mentionable, but I think it's great, haha! New toothbrushes and new sock are always exciting and fun to use for the first time.

I bought this package on offer and thought it was a great deal, just got it in the mail today and the protein bars and powder were good so in case you like some you can find it here:)
Pretty and colourful and everything

I was just posing with the food and realized I looked all creepy with the knife, haha!

I cooked a small pre christmas meal for Ken, my dad and I because my dad is leaving tonight to go across the country to his side of the family while I stay in Bergen. It was nice!

That's about it!

Lots of love:) xoxo

Best Girlfriends

Ken's photo

Ken's photo
Bergen is really beautiful these days as you can see in the photos above. The last few days I've been christmas shopping and enjoying Bergen and all the christmas lights. It's been really nice. My dad was just in Edinburgh and gave me an early present, chocolate and a mini champaign, haha!

Above you can see some stuff I got at Ikea. The rose and big heart pillow is from Ken just purely because he's great and I'm a spoiled girlfriend. I've gone there a few times now to get my mum sorted in her new apartment.

A good while ago I sprained my ankle and in the x-ray they took they found that something had been wrong with my ankle for a really long time and told me to get an MRI scan as soon as possible. Now, one year later I've finally gone in for the MRI and a new x-ray. It's so nice to have it done, though I'm nervous about what they want to do to fix it. I hope I don't need an operation. The MRI machine was terrifying! It sounded like the apocalypse and I was sure I was going to die any minute, but thankfully I survived. Sometimes if I'm nervous I laugh so when they were putting me into the machine I was like "hahaha oh my god hahaha oh my god", the doctor must have thought I was some sort of freak, haha! I have already had an operation in my other leg almost three years ago after an accident when I fell with a horse and it landed on top of me. So, I have now metal nails in my knee and ankle after that operation. It's still sore at times so I'm praying I don't need another operation. I'm thankfully soon going to take those nails out, I hope that will make things better.

I took Ken to my favorite pizza place, Dolly Dimples, the other day. It was really nice as always, a little busy, but the nice food makes up for it. For the non norwegian people, it's like Domino's just ten million times better.

I'm sorry about the bad quality of some photos. I think it's so quick and easy to use the front camera of my iPhone, but it makes for low quality photos, I'll try to be better at bringing my proper camera.

Earlier this evening I was out for dinner, or "julebord", with my girlfriends, it was so much fun as always. It was like a mini christmas for Rakel as well because she is going to Egypt for a week. She ate traditional christmas foods and got a few gifts. It's just never boring to be with those girls, but I don't see them as often as I would like. It was really nice. Helene just got engaged as well so I was really, really excited to hear all the details! Congratulations to her and André.

Our phones looked the same, such a funny coincidence!
Madeleine is a blogger as well, you can find her here:)

My pearl sunglasses came in the post today, so exciting. I'm all ready for summer and sunny weather now. They're too cool!

Let's not nervous about the doomsday, let's just be excited and sexy (Stephen Hampton quote).

XOXO

I just watched the last Gossip Girl episode and it was a very satisfying ending. The last few minutes are 5 years in the future and it made me very happy. They said it was a two hour episode and it kind of was, the first 40 minutes was the last episode and the next part were interviews with the cast, the director and the writers.

It was so much fun. I loved all the shocking moments done in typical Gossip Girl fashion, and speaking of fashion, that has come to be so iconic for the show, there were a lot of big moments there too.

Kristen Bell is the voice of Gossip Girl, as you probably know, and she's in the episode, she's not Gossip Girl though. I hope that's not too much of a spoiler. I was wondering if it was going to be her and we would see clips of previous episodes and see her in the background or something and think "why didn't I see her sooner?!", but no, thankfully not.

I laughed several times, the characters were more typical themselves than ever, the writing is just so good in this show. Characters we haven't seen in a while like Jenny and Eric were in it, there was also a whole new character in the group called Henry, you'll know what I mean when you see it. Georgina was in it a lot, but as a likable character for once without changing her personality.
Yes, that's Vera Wang!

All in all I'm very happy and it was a worthy ending of an amazing show:)

Pin-up girl

It's been snowing a lot the last few days until right now, now it's raining. All the lakes around are covered in ice, it's really pretty. I hope the rain doesn't take all the snow, I was hoping for a white christmas, but we'll see, I like the rain too so it's ok. To the left you see my dad and I in town. Bergen likes modern art I think, at least you find funny looking stuff everywhere like that upside down triangle with sort of a mirror that was outside a building. I like it though, perfect for a photograph! This was taken when my dad got his iPhone 5. I'm jealous and Ken is even more jealous, haha, he's dying to get one.
I've been watching Gossip Girl the day after it airs and next episode is the very last episode ever. I couldn't be more excited and sad. It's sad that the story is going to be over, but they've said that the person behind Gossip Girl is going to be revealed the last episode which is very exciting. So is the fact that the whole story with all it's twists and turns and complicated situations is going to be put to an end and we're going to (hopefully) get all the answers we're all dying to know. The last episode ended very dramatically in old Hollywood style, big 'cliffhanger', I can't wait to see what happens. I've also heard rumors that Georgina is going to hook up with someone the last episode, but I take it all with a pinch of salt. I really hope Gossip Girl is actually going to be revealed and they're not all like "I told you it was a secret I'll never tell". I have no idea who I'd be happy with being Gossip Girl, I always thought Dorota made sense in a way, but I hope not, I'm hoping for a real omg moment. I hope Blair and Chuck will get to be together as well, their story has turned in to a nice love story. I really hope Serena pulls herself together and stop being such a weirdo, too.

Other than that I'm enjoying learning to cook new things. Today I'm making ham. I learned that when my grandma was here. Tomorrow I'm making chicken fillets filled with mozzarella and pesto rolled in a specific type of ham, I'm not quite sure how it's going to turn out yet. I thankfully have salmon that I know how to make in case I mess it up completely, haha. I'm also obsessed with smoothies. I make some everyday, I usually buy a smoothie mix they have at the local store that has like small bags with frozen fruits and berries so I can "mix and match", it's fun.

Yesterday I had my first driving lesson too, it was so much fun. For some reason I love driving, I don't know why I haven't started on my license sooner. Well, I do know.. I moved to Spain shortly after I had turned 18, but I'm so excited I can do it now. I can't wait to have it. I got one teacher I'll have all the time, he seems really nice. He'll make sure I get everything done and learn things properly. The cars they had there were a lot newer and easier to drive than the cars I've been driving before, which was nice.

Here's some photos from the last few days:)

Found this lovely pin-up lady on the side of a coca-cola car:D
My mum has a way with her breakfasts

I found this crazy horse at Ikea the other day
It was so funny looking

My new cups
I went to Ikea with my mum, she has a lot still to get for her new apartment. I found these awesome retro looking cups. They are my new smoothie cups and I just love them. I also got a matching plate so I can serve cupcakes or whatever else I want to make with the smoothies, that makes me excited!

Hey, my name is Earl

Hey!

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show aired in the US three days ago, I saw it yesterday. I loved the it, I think the last two years it's been been better than ever. It was awesome seeing Adriana Lima open the show, she looks amazing and she is just ever so cool. The fantasy bra looked like it was made for Alessandra, I just totally imagine her style to be just like that. Rihanna's second performance I thought was the best performance in the show, I loved her outfit. I loved her pearl shades in her first performance too, I've already ordered similar ones. I love pearls so much, I just had to have them, haha!
They have this cool new thing on VictoriasSecret.com where you can see the  photos of the full outfits from the show and buy the underwear they are wearing, I love that!

I couldn't even start to talk about what I liked the most and which were my favorite outfits because there are so many. I absolutely love the show and I'm so excited for it every year, way more excited for this than christmas eve. Another one of the walks was inspired by all the seasons and traditions and stuff, such a cool idea! One of the walks were inspired by old Hollywood movie stars so it was very glamorous with lots of diamonds, it was also inspired by Swarovski as they have collaborated for ten years this year. The different sections were: Circus, Dangerous Liaisons, Calendar Girls, Pink Is Us, Silver Screen Angels and Angels In Bloom. I just want to watch it again now, I probably will, haha!

My new sunglasses:D
Here in Norway it's super cold these days, it's minus four degrees celsius in the day and minus ten at night. I can't sit still for more than five seconds inside without feeling freezing even though the radiators are on and I have warm clothes on. It's nice out though, the snow is still here even though it hasn't snowed for days and it's sunny every day which makes me really happy.

Do you like my new cover photo here? I thought it was time for a change, it was fun making it.

Ken and I have started watching a show called "My name is Earl". It's so ridiculously funny! I laugh out loud several times each episode, it's just hilarious!! You have to watch it, it's on Netflix. It's about a southern, low-life guy who used to be a thief and did bad things. He wins 100,000 dollars in a scratch card, but gets hit by a car straight afterwards and starts to believe in karma. So he makes a list of all the bad things he's done and each episode is about him fixing something on his list, better and better things start happen too him. It's fun how true he stays to his promise to himself about making everything on the list right again, if he's been bad to someone he has to make them feel good again and change what he did even if they don't want him to. The cast is amazing. I'm getting excited talking about it, I just want to watch that too! Sometimes Earl looks ridiculously much like Ronnie Vannucci, the drummer from The Killers.

Hope everyone is inside and warm:)

Lots of love

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

We've got the news that the owner of my dad's apartment are selling it so we have to move. That's sad in a way because I love it here and Ken and I have moved twice already the last three months, it's going to be good to have a place to ourselves again though. I love looking at apartments and stuff online so I've already found an apartment that I'm hoping to get, it's really close to my first school actually. It would be weird living there again!

Other than that the weather is lovely these days. Yesterday it was snowing a lot in the evening so around 2 am we went out to enjoy it. We walked around a little and found a playground. Playgrounds are always fun regardless of age, Ken took loads of great photos, I'm sure you can see some on Facebook soon. This is my first snow angel this year.
Me and my angel wings
My angel

It's getting really cold outside, last night it was minus six degrees celsius! It's definitely time to wear my pajamas. Outside is absolutely stunning though, I love it.

The day before yesterday I watched the movie 'Paris When It Sizzles' with Audrey Hepburn in the lead playing Gabrielle Simpson. If you know me, you know that she is my absolute style icon. I adore her and the person she was, so I watch her movies from time to time. My all time movie favorite is 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', but I want to see all her movies. 'Paris When It Sizzles' is about Gabrielle who is a transcriber that visits a guy who needs to come up with a movie scrips in two days. It a lot of fun to watch, when he tells the story for her to write we see it, so when the story takes twists and turns things suddenly change, it's very funny. There were so many funny moments in it that made me laugh out loud, it was really good. The fashion in the movie was amazing, I want every single outfit Hepburn wore. She was just ridiculously good looking in it, as always. Her dresses are to die for!
From a scene in the movie, just look at that dress:D
It's not often we get to see her with her hair down, loves it!

One of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen

Like I said, I loved the movie. It's worth watching for sure, so funny!

I hope you're not too cold in this weather, take care:)

Lots of love xoxo
